麦叶刀: 老CMG进入热门临床专业住院医生的必要条件

CMGs 有很大的潜力进入这些热门专业。这绝不是单纯靠喜欢，或因为在国内做过（但这是很重要的驱动因素）。
老美看的是在这些Hot领域里，CMG已经体现出的价值和继续为这领域
contribution的潜能。
下面几条通用于任何专业，但对进入这些hot专业缺一不可：
1、Continuous commitment to this field, 国内临床和美国科研一直是在这个领域；
2、响当当的在这个领域的paper, award and/or grant；
3、美国MD对你潜能的评价；
4、Decent score, this one weighs the LEAST among all above for applying these hot specialities.
如果不具备上面任何一条，要做好做炮灰的准备。一定程度上 ，老CMG有优势具备这4条。

Every year peoples complaint the match getting harder while lots of CMG
still got in. Before the door truly close to you, you'd better think about working harder to adapt to the changing world.
One thing I need correct you: the lady in this story has high IQ and EQ which yours never be comparable to!

低分能match现在也是事实，关键看full package. But hot specialties and good program never lower their threshold.
